Just another nail in the coffin

In a recent article on Rand Paul’s website for his campaign in the 2010 US Senate election, he talks about the proposed “Death Tax” and how his opponent Jack Conway joins President Obama’s quest for implementing this new tax. Paul makes it very clear that he thinks this type of tax is ridiculous and that states that this death tax will unequally hurt famers and small businesses. Personally, I think that this is a HUGE mistake on Jack Conway’s part, because who wants to be taxed for dying… NOBODY! Currently, there is no estate tax in place in our government and that is how it should remain. In the words of Rand Paul himself, “President Obama and Jack Conway are just wrong. We should not be raising taxes on anyone, especially during a recession. And, we shouldn’t be trying to decide what rate the Death Tax should be, we should instead be keeping it where it is – zero.”
